Playhouse Kids Zone Before & After School Care and Student MicroTransit provides early AM and Late PM care and/ or transportation for school age kids in grades Pre-K- Grade 12. With flexible hours starting at 4AM and as late as 8PM in a safe, family childcare setting, our program is perfect for your busy familys needs.

Transportation to and from your childs MUSD or Maricopa based school or local free school activity by our licensed and insured staff may be available! Transportation can be arranged for just one day per week or every weekday, based on your familys needs.
Whether you need transportation for your child to school, home from school, to after school activities, short term or long term, we are here to help!
Transportation services can be provided as a stand alone service or in conjunction with before and after school care.
Reliable, Safe, Trusted Care
Our program is different than your average before/after school program because we maintain a small ratio to provide the attention and support your school age child needs to start their school day right and to unwind and relax after a hard day at "work". Kids have the freedom to play indoors, outdoors, enjoy game time, homework support, nutritious snacks and hot breakfast as well as socialization with peers. We also offer a special activity for our school age friends every month at no additional cost to parents!
Background Checked, Professionally Trained and Certified Staff
Staff are fully background checked, CPR and First Aid certified, professionally Trained in PAX Tools Behavior Management for School age with over 10 years experience in childcare. Our primary caregivers and support staff all have your kids safety and care as their focus 100% of the time. Connecting with the kids in our program helps us to understand each childs need and know how to best use our training and education to meet them where they are.
Nutritious Meals and Snacks
Fueling our school age friends to start their day right is important to your childs successful start to their school day. So we provide nutritious hot breakfast and protein packed after school snacks that will fuel your kids brains and bodies.
Monthly Special Activities
Each month kids will enjoy a special activity such as a Bahama Bucks Paradise Party, Ice Cream truck visits, pizza party, movie matinee and more. These activities are provided at no additional cost and help to build a stronger sense of community among our small group of school age friends!
Homework Hour
At Kids Zone we have a daily homework hour where all school age students will complete school assigned homework with support as needed. During this time there are no screens or play taking place to allow students from Prek to middle school to focus on completing their tasks before relaxing and playing. Students without homework assigned will participate in daily reading, quiet journaling, drawing or coloring. Use of personal devices for quiet enjoyment of music is also allowed during this unwind time.
