It Takes A Village Childcare Scholarship Program

We at Masai’s Playhouse LLC. truly believe in the strength and significance of family and strong communities. In the years since we opened Masai’s Playhouse, we have built many strong bonds with children and parents. There are times a family experiences tragedy, or hardships of life and may struggle financially and economically. During these times access to and ability to afford childcare can become difficult. Being able to maintain that structure and security they have while in the care of a loving and nurturing childcare provider can make all the difference for parents and in the child’s life during difficult times.

Through our childcare scholarship fund, we are able to offer discounted and free childcare for a period of 6-12 months, to families who meet the criteria for eligibility. Period for which scholarships are available will vary based on fund available.

Program Eligibility:

Parents/ Guardians current residents of Maricopa, AZ
Children currently reside in Maricopa, AZ
Proof of financial hardship
Parents/guardians not currently owing outstanding balances to previous childcare facility/ provider.
Ability to meet enrollment requirements and adhere to program policies in place at Masai's Playhouse LLC.

Supporting families in need

As the old proverb says, “ It takes a village to raise up a child”. Since 2017, our mission has been to offer donated items to families with children who may be facing food scarcity, temporary financial issues or in need of children's clothing or infant needs in the city of Maricopa Arizona.

We have provided diapers, hygiene products, household cleaning supplies and food to families in need throughout the years. These items available to families in need have been provided by the owners of Masai's Playhouse and most significantly, through the generous contributions of people in our community.

We hope to continue supporting families by providing these kinds of things when they are in need and we would like to invite the great community of Maricopa to help in doing so as well. It takes a village, and our city can definitely come together to help our most valued members, the children. Thank you so much for your support

New, unexpired, non perishable food
Good, used condition or new, children's clothing items
Good, used condition or new youth clothing items
Good, used condition or new, infant and preemie clothing items
Diapers in sealed package or box. All sizes accepted
Household items including cleaning products, laundry detergents and kitchenware items
Feminine hygiene products for youth
New or in sealed package family hygiene products including toothpaste, toothbrushes, body was, soap,, shampoo and conditioner
New, unexpired, non perishable infant foods
New, unexpired, non perishable Infant formulas
